How do I book a trip with AL-Iqra Holidays?
Send us your trip details through the Plan My Trip page, a package enquiry form, or WhatsApp/call directly. Our team will get back to you with an itinerary and pricing, and your trip is confirmed once we've agreed on the details together — there's no online checkout involved.
Do you accept online payments?
No, we don't run an online payment gateway on this site. Payment terms and method are discussed and confirmed directly with our team by phone or WhatsApp once your itinerary is finalised.
Can your tour packages be customised?
Yes — the packages on this site are starting itineraries. We regularly adjust duration, hotel category, destinations covered and pace to match what you're looking for. Mention your preferences when you enquire.
What is typically included in a package price?
Most packages include airport/station transfers, a private vehicle for the itinerary, accommodation, and daily breakfast (often dinner too). Flights, lunch, entry fees and optional activities are usually excluded. Each package page lists its specific inclusions and exclusions.
Do you offer discounts for group bookings?
Group pricing is quoted individually based on group size, season and the itinerary you choose. Share your group size when you enquire and we'll put together a quote.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation and refund terms depend on the season, hotel partners and how far in advance you cancel, so we confirm the exact terms with you at the time of booking rather than publishing one fixed policy here. Ask our team before you confirm if this is a deciding factor.
Do children get a discount?
Many of our hotel partners offer reduced rates — or no extra charge — for young children sharing a room with parents. Let us know ages when you enquire and we'll confirm the exact terms for your chosen package and hotels.
How do I get a price quote for my trip?
The fastest way is the Plan My Trip form or a direct WhatsApp message with your preferred destination, travel dates and number of travellers — we typically respond with options and pricing directly.

What is the best time to visit Kashmir?
It depends on what you want: April–June and September–October offer the most reliable weather across Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. July–August is peak season and also the main window for the Amarnath Yatra. December–February is when Gulmarg gets snow for skiing. See our blog post on seasons for a full breakdown.
Do I need any special permits for Kashmir, Ladakh or Gurez?
Most of Kashmir (Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg, Doodhpathri) needs no special permit for Indian citizens. Ladakh's Nubra Valley and Pangong Tso require Protected Area Permits, and Gurez Valley requires an Inner Line Permit due to its location — we arrange these as part of your booking for the relevant trips.
Is Kashmir safe for tourists right now?
Kashmir remains a major, actively visited tourist destination with established hotels, transport and tourism infrastructure. As with any travel, we recommend checking current official travel advisories before your trip and staying in touch with your tour coordinator, who can flag any local updates relevant to your itinerary.
What about altitude sickness in Ladakh?
This is a genuine consideration — Leh sits at roughly 3,500m. Our Ladakh itineraries build in a full rest day on arrival before any sightseeing, and we carry oxygen as a precaution. Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol for the first 48 hours, and tell your coordinator immediately if you notice headache, nausea or breathlessness.
